Analysis of function and characteristics of Lan butterfly valve

Flange butterfly valve is commonly used accessories, today's edition will introduce to you the specific functions and characteristics of flange butterfly valve.

The revolving center of the butterfly plate of the flange butterfly valve (that is, the center of the stem) is located on the center line of the valve body and the sealing surface section of the butterfly plate. The valve seat is made of rubber. When the butterfly plate is closed, the outer sealing surface of the butterfly plate extrudes the synthetic rubber seat, which causes the elastic deformation of the seat and forms the elastic force as the sealing specific pressure to ensure the sealing of the butterfly valve.

Flange butterfly valve seals are composed of PTFE and synthetic rubber. Its characteristics are that the elasticity of the valve is still provided by the synthetic rubber and the low friction coefficient, wear resistance and aging resistance of PTFE are utilized, so that the service life of the butterfly valve can be improved. Its sealing principle and structural characteristics are the same as those of ordinary midline butterfly valves.

1. For gas pipelines in sulphuric acid industry: blower inlet and outlet in front of furnace, relay fan inlet and outlet, electric demister series and connecting valve, S02 main blower inlet and outlet, converter adjustment, preheater inlet and outlet adjustment and cut-off gas use.

2. Sulphur-burning, conversion and dry-suction sections used in sulphur-based sulphuric acid plants are the preferred brands of valves for sulphur-based sulphuric acid plants. They are considered by the majority of users as butterfly valves with good sealing performance, light operation, side-corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, easy operation, flexibility and safe and reliable use, and have been widely used.

The main characteristics of flange butterfly valve are as follows:

1. Flow characteristic tends to straight line and has good regulation performance.

2. It is compact and light, easy to disassemble, assemble and repair, and can be installed at any position.

3. The structure is simple and compact, the operation torque is small, and the 90 degree rotation opens quickly.

4. The connection between butterfly plate and valve stem adopts pinless structure, which overcomes the possible internal leakage point.

5. The spherical shape of the outer circle of the butterfly plate improves the sealing performance and prolongs the service life of the valve. The valve still keeps zero leakage after opening and closing more than 50,000 times under pressure.

6. The butterfly plate can be sprayed with coating according to user's requirements, such as nylon or PTFE.

7. Seals can be replaced, and the seals are reliable to achieve bidirectional seals.

8. The valve can be designed as flange connection and clamp connection.

9. The driving mode can be manual, electric or pneumatic.

Flanged butterfly valves are suitable for water supply and drainage, sewage, food, heating, gas, ship, hydropower, metallurgy, energy system and textile industries with temperatures less than 120 C or less than 150 C and nominal pressures less than 1.6 MPa. They are especially suitable for bidirectional seals and corrosion-prone valve bodies, and are used as flow regulating and closure media.
